FOVEA's First Annual Benefit and Auction

Walk into the poetic gardens of the Ballynahinch Castle or the fires of master glass blower John Gilvey's studio with auction items from Fovea Exhibitions benefit on Friday Dec. 12. To raise money for this educational photo journalism nonprofit, artists, Beacon shops and even one of Ireland's four star luxury hotels is offering items ranging from a weekend at a local bed and breakfast to a bottle of champagne at Manhattan's hip Bubble Lounge. The evening also includes music by Hank and the Skinny Tree. All of the proceeds benefit Fovea Exhibitions, which brings internationally-renowned photojournalists to Beacon and area schools in conjunction with mounting exhibitions on world and national current events.
