Aside from my #1 belief that one must always manage expectations, I have a very important tip: Please dont wait to manage, maintain or back up your computers (Mac OR PC) because let me tell you what happens: Your computer, which is hooked up to the internet, will log on to the many machine-only social networks. There they will fall in with a rough group of sad, older, emo machines which will result in a suicide-pact. This will ensure that your computer problems will come to a head at the very time that IT support groups (and all your friends who know how to recover data) are either on vacation, fixing someone elses computer or fixing their own damn computer.
At least thats all I can figure out from the 100 phone calls I received this morning for support on dead and dying machines. Please make sure you arent a statistic, as much as I love your money.
