This morning I sent off my "subscription" to Burn the online photo magazine. I know what your thinking, "isn't Burn free?"
Well yes it is, but I sent them money anyway.
Why would I choose to pay for something that is free? The reason is that Burn is the only photo site that I know of that is putting up original photo essays every week and not trying to sell me something. No ads, no distractions, just a real respect for the photographer's voice. What photographer can't get behind that idea?
If you haven't seen Burn, check it out. And if you like it send them some money (here). It is kind of like public radio, yes it is free but don't you want to make sure it stays around?
