An interesting, innovative multimedia piece by photographer Dhiraj Singh on BURN Magazine (here). I've been thinking about how to handle multimedia a lot lately. The trick is to keep the finished pieces from being tv for the web. Singh has done that and more.
Someone asked in the panel discussion at National Geographic last Monday how long a multimedia piece should be. My firm belief is the shorter the better. 3 minutes, 5 minutes tops. I have a serious question for you all. What is the longest piece you have ever watched and enjoyed? Put the url in the comment so we can all see.

This one is long, 12 minutes so more of a short film by Chien-Chi Chang but very compelling

Glenn Campbell's Australia front line about 2:40

and Paolo Pellegrin / Magnum in Motion The Downward Spiral about 4 minutes

Although I might argue that both are essentially sound pieces with very strong photos. Paolo's essay is narrated by a George Soros interview so the audio is riveting.
