After four intense days here in Bangkok, Dave Harvey, Mike Yamashita, myself, and workshop leader Kris LeBoutillier can finally take it easy. Our students were really rocking the last day, putting to use all information we pounded in their heads the first two days.
Though my colleagues have been here before, this was my first time in Bangkok, and I hope it won't be my last. Bangkok is incredibly rich with imagery on so many different levels, that one has to return many times just to get below the surface. Dave is planning to post some of the students' work on Burn - we'll send you a link when it's up. Mike and I are starting the long journey back to New York tonight, but will try to make a few more images of the city this afternoon; Dave of course is staying a few extra days to recharge his batteries. Kris is already trying to plan another workshop here, we'll keep you updated on that also. Of course many thanks to Canon here in Thailand for sponsoring this. My only regret is not seeing that low pole at the temple that smashed the front element of my 24-105mm lens!!!
