This picture from Rapa Nui really sums up the way I feel about the coming year. Huge changes are brewing in the publishing world. The convergence of new technology and easy delivery seems to be coming to a head. Old business models are falling apart. We are poised on the breaking wave, what is 2010 going to look like?
After the first of the year we'll look at that future in a series of posts. Where is publishing going? Where is multimedia going? What are things going to be like after the wave breaks? What challenges and opportunities are ahead?
I can't wait to find out.
