The US Senate passed a bill aimed curbing the Lord's Resistance Army's rampage through Uganda and Sudan (here). It passed the Senate with overwhelming support. Admittedly being anti LRA is hardly a politically difficult position to take. But it is gratifying to see the US government finally pay some attention to this conflict.
