My friend Wilmer Mills passed away yesterday after a brief and intense bout with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and at his ancestral home for the last weeks of his life. I cannot imagine a more elegant passing from this earth than Wil's.

Hi...I found your blog after searching online for info about Wil Mills. I knew him in high school in Louisiana (before he left for McCallie) and followed his poetry over the years. He really is one of the loveliest people I've ever met. Even in high school, I knew that he would do really great things. Thanks for posting the pic you took for him.
