On Friday I received my 5D MK III and have had very little time to use it over the weekend. Anyone who has seen my facebook page has figured out that I am deeply involved in a time lapse project and it is occupying most of my time. The clip below is from day 5 of trying to make a particular sequence for the project.

Let me say that so far I am very impressed with the MK III. It functions like the MK II except much faster and 2 stops brighter. My time lapse work-flow involves automated actions in Lightroom and Photoshop neither of which currently support the MK III so I haven't shot many still images with it yet, but it is pretty good for video.
For the video above the camera is set up much like this except I am using a Rode NTG-3 into the Tascam recorder and I can actually monitor the sound out of the camera live AND see the sound levels displayed on the monitor. Huge leap forward.
The video was recorded in All-I compression format, and no sound was synced in post.
