I've been cleaning the studio this week. It is long overdue. I'm to the point that it was easier to buy new equipment than find the stuff I already own, definitely time to clean... Also I have a class coming up next week on Visual Narrative and spending time alone in the office helps me organize my thoughts about what I'll be teaching. Maybe I'll write some of that down later this week.
While cleaning the equipment room I unearthed a pile of Pelican equipment cases. Their lids tell the story of assignments around the world, hotels, old phone numbers, apartments and houses I've lived in. Cameras and lights come and go but it is shocking how long some of the pelican boxes will stick around.
OK, back to cleaning.

Go through those cases carefully - there may be some cash stashed in them.
